Speedway historian Tony Webb’s collection is now preserved in the Queensland State Archives. “At last all my Queensland Speedway research is in the State archives for future generations, says Tony. “Future historians, family researchers and speedway fans now have a one-stop info base for speedway in Queensland. Many of the items are on line. You may also view the items at the Queensland State Library John Oxley reading rooms with one hour’s notice. 7 days a week. I would suggest that if you want to preserve your own collections then contact your State library for help. As you will see from the list the collection is covers most items of Queensland solo speedway but is by no means complete. The library is keen for donations of further collections as long as it is mainly Queensland related. My collection is titled Tony Webb/John Williams collection.
