VJMC Rally heads north

-

After two successful years based in Tamworth, NSW, the annual Vintage Japanese National Rally moves to Queensland for 2019 and 2020. The rally will be based at Gold Coast Holiday Park 66 – 68 Siganto Drive Helensvale, just off the M1 Freeway, from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May 2019. VJMC President John McNair says, “This event promises to be a highlight of the year for those with a passion for early Japanese Motorcycles. The rally will feature motorcycles from the 1950s through to the 1990s including models for race, road and trail. Past rallies have attracted over 300 restored and unrestored machines from 50cc to 1500cc. Those wishing to book accommodation please make sure you advise them it’s for the VJMC Rally, in order to obtain discounts. The accommodation is plentiful and varied. While the Gold Coast Tourist Park is on the northern side of the Freeway, an underpass will provide safe and quick access to the Show & Shine in front of the Outback Spectacular Complex on the Saturday from noon and the Presentation Dinner that night at Movieworld. “On the Saturday and Sunday mornings there will be organised rides through the Gold Coast hinterland for those entered in the Rally. These rides will depart from the Outback Spectacular carpark. A welcome barbeque will be held on the Friday night. We look forward to seeing everyone on the Gold Coast in 2019.”
