Broadford gets a facelift
The Road Race Circuit at the State Motorcycle Complex at Broadford is to receive a complete resurfacing before the end of the year, thanks to a total of $473,000 pledged by the Victorian Government. The announcement was made by Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes during a visit to the complex for the Women’s Only Ride day on June 25th. As well as numerous open and club race events, the track is used continuously for Ride days, Junior programmes and vehicle launches. However after being in use since 1990, the 1.9km circuit is now showing signs of wear and tear, so the upgrade will come as welcome news.
