Robert (Bob) Satterly
One of the true doyens of the Vincent community, BOB SATTERLEY passed away on Sunday 20th May 2018 at the age of 89.
Bob had varied collections of motorbikes, including Morini, Norton, Ducati, Velocette and Vincents. All these bikes were solos. In Bob’s latter years he progressed to fitting sidecars to his Vincent machinery. However Bob will always be remembered as a Vincent Man, having not been without one since 1948. Bob attended many rallies in Australia and overseas, his favourite being the Girder Fork Rally in Cooma, N.S.W., Australia. Bob always made himself available with his knowledge and prowess for those needing a hand with their projects. Bob would always entertain us with so many stories from his working life and his exploits on motorcycling and his worldly travels. Bob is survived by wife Penn, daughters Evelyn and Pojinee.
