Better late than never
27 years ago I purchased a worn out but complete BSA M24 Gold Star 500cc motor at Dunolly in Central Victoria. When my dad found out he told me to hurry up and get it going before he was too old to ride it. As the years moved on and two divorces and an arson attack finished my business, dad said “hurry up and get it going before I am too old to start it”. Well, I got it going and on club rego just after dad’s 90th birthday. Although too frail to start it and not confident to ride it, here is my dad Bill re-living memories of his younger days. It may not be a genuine Goldie but it is a nice bike to ride.
