Ur­ban Moto Im­ports, dis­trib­u­tor of Royal En­field, MV Agusta, Benelli, Bi­mota and Gas­gas, has been ap­pointed dis­trib­u­tor of Peu­geot Scoot­ers for Aus­tralia and New Zea­land. UMI will be­gin to forge a strong dealer net­work for Peu­geot Scoot­ers on the back of a launch of the new Euro 4 mod­els.

“The Peu­geot brand has an ex­tra­or­di­nary her­itage of in­no­va­tive en­gi­neer­ing and de­sign. We are very proud and ex­cited to rep­re­sent the brand in Aus­tralia and New Zea­land, and look for­ward to see­ing our deal­er­ship net­work grow with the new model range” said CEO Joseph Elas­mar.

Aus­tralia and New Zea­land will be of­fered a wide range of two and three-wheel mod­els from 50cc to 400cc, in­clud­ing the Django, Metropo­lis, Kis­bee, Tweet and Belville. Each model will come with a two-year war­ranty and two year Cus­tomer Care pro­gram. The first ship­ment is ex­pected to ar­rive in Septem­ber, with pre-or­ders to be ac­ti­vated well in ad­vance.
