At Vet’s dinner
The 54th annual NSW Motorcycle Old Timers Association dinner, to be held on Wednesday 8th May, 2019 at Canterbury NSW, will feature the official launch of the new book ‘Race across the Great Divide’. Co-authors Darryl Flack and Don Cox conceived the book as a tribute to the riders who starred in the 1970s – arguably the golden era of local racing in Australia and New Zealand. Names like Gregg Hansford, Warren Willing, Ron Toombs, Bryan Hindle, Murray and Jeffrey Sayle and many others fought memorable duels here, and many embarked on international careers with varying degrees of success. The venue for the dinner is the Panarcadian Federation Club, 51-55 King Street Canterbury 2193. Tickets are essential and are available from Dennis Quinlan on 0407 250692.
