Goes to Toowoomba

Following this year’s successful event on the Gold Coast, the 2020 VJMC Rally will shift inland to the city of Toowoomba, to be held on 1st-3rd May. Situated in a commanding position atop the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range at 700 metres above sea level, Toowoomba is Queensland’s largest inland city and has long been a major centre for commerce, industry and education. Headquarters for the event will be Toowoomba Motor Village, 3km south of the city centre with self-contained units, cabins and van sites. Rally participants will receive 10% discount on the published rates. A marquee will be erected at the site for rally registration and social activities. The rally will kick off with a meet, greet and dine at the Eagle Room in the City Golf Club on Friday 1st May. The traditional Show and Shine will take place on Saturday morning, followed by a group ride, details of which will be announced soon, with the presentation dinner at the Golf Club on Saturday evening. Further rides will be held on Sunday. Entry forms will be available mid-October when all costings and venue arrangements have been finalised.
