Ron Merrick
RON MERRICK of Lithgow, NSW, passed away on 20th July, 219, aged 76. Ron was well known for his long-term love of motorcycles; in particular Montesa motorcycles. He raced for many years on short circuits, motocross and enduro events in the Lithgow area and was a regular competitor at the Nepean circuit near Windsor, NSW. I believe some of his bikes and memorabilia are still on display at Ash’s Speedway Museum in Bathurst. Ron’s funeral was conducted in Lithgow on 26th July, 2019.
