Vets head to Cowra

-

The Vintage Motorcycle Club of Australia NSW Inc. will be holding a four-day veteran (pre 1919) motorcycle ride in Cowra from 3rd – 6th April, 2020. Cowra was selected for a number of reasons; the roads are quiet and pretty flat and perfect for single-speed bikes, there is ample accommodation, and it is close to Bathurst where the VMCC’s annual Bathurst Rally is being held. This means that riders can bring their bikes to the Veteran rally and then move on to another week of riding at Bathurst, either on their veterans, or they may choose to bring a later bike for the Bathurst rally. “We really want to encourage our pioneering motorcycles to be used and seen” says VMCC president Hans Sprangers, who will himself be riding a 1914 New Hudson and 1912 FN. “We want to make this a bi-annual event and we particularly encourage interstate riders to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy up to 10 days of riding.” For entry forms please follow the link below or contact Antony Gullick on 0415 284 620 http://vmccnsw.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Entry-Form_Veteran_Cowra_2020.pdf
