Weird one in William Street
PARKED IN BATHURST’S MAIN STREET at Easter 1980, this curious creation drew lots of quizzical glances. What would appear to be a Ford Cortina four-cylinder engine, turbocharged no less, has been shoe-horned into a Norton Featherbed frame, with possibly Triumph front forks, Yamaha wheels and a massive radiator of unknown provenance. And it made it all the way from Queensland, and, presumably, back!
