Army Beezas

I quite liked Pete’s last Classic Cobs article in

OBA 87 on the 450 x B40s the Australian Army had in the 1960s. I have owned one along with a 1940 M20 for the last 20 years or so. The B40 has been registered in Qld all that time.

My engine # is GA393. I never knew much of the history so Pete’s article was quite enlightening. I wonder how many of the original 450 are left. I have seen a number of khaki frames and bits at swap meets over the years. I know one bloke in Brisbane who has one but not in rego. Mine gets along alright but with a pillion on board it slows it up.
