Guzzi hits 100
It was 15th March 1921 when Moto Guzzi was officially established, so there’s a telegram from The Queen on its way to Mandello del Lario.
To celebrate this milestone, the famous Italian marque is releasing a strictly limited run of three models; the V7, V9, and the V85TT. These models will be finished in what is officially called Centennial Livery, which means predominantly green and silver, which itself is strongly reminiscent of the glorious 350 Bailbero that cleaned up the riders’ and constructors’ World Championships from 1953 to 1957. Green was also the colour of the very first model, the Normale. All models feature the satin finish that is currently all the rage, along with special fabric and embroidery for the seats and one-off gold badging. Australian deliveries for the Centennial Livery models is expected to begin in May, with prices to be announced soon.
