Show stoppers at Shannons Auction

Shannons’ April 2020 auction produced some excellent results, not more impressive than an incredible $17,002 for a 1980 Honda Z50J1 Mini Trail, thought to be a world record for this model. Other machines to change hands for substantial sums included a 1981 Honda CBX1000 Prolink at $31,000, a 1961 Matchless G80CS at $13,500 and a 1974 Honda CB750 K4 at $21,100.

Shannons’ next Timed Online auction runs from June 8th to 15th. Standout motorcycles listed include a rare 1938 Matchless Model X V-twin, a stunning Z900 A4 Kawasaki that has covered only 2km since a ground-up restoration, and a pristine 1972 Norton Commando 750.
