It’s the end of the line for the iconic Royal Enfield Classic 500 – the long stroke engine that has its heritage dating back to the first of the famous Bullets decades ago. Although the design has been constantly refined and updated, modern emission laws dictate that an all-new design will soon replace the Classic 500. The very special limited edition ‘Tribute Black” features a hand-lined petrol tank, quilted leather rider and passenger touring seats, and is LAMS approved. Just 240 of the Classic 500 Black have been allocated to Australasia, with an Australian ride-way price of $9590.00, and an expected NZ RRP of $9690.00. All will carry a numbered plaque designating their iconic status, with a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty and roadside assistance. n
