Triumph’s new Tiger Sport 660
Triumph’s latest incarnation of their successful triple-cylinder platform is the Tiger Sport 660, which will go on sale in Australia in the first quarter of 2022. Only the LAMS approved model will join the range, priced at $14,690 ride away in the standard non-metallic colour – metallic paint adds $150. Pitched squarely at the adventure sports market, the new Tiger Sport 660 develops 48ps at 8,750 rpm and 59Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm in LAMS form. Showa suspension is at both ends, along with Nissin brakes and standard Michelin Road 5 tyres. Versatility is key, with the new model claimed to be equally at home in the city, as a commuter, or for touring. A range of more than 40 genuine accessories, including luggage, will be available. We’ll bring you a test of this exciting new middleweight in the new year.
