Graham Biggs
A Life Member and past president of the Ballarat Rovers Motorcycle Club, GRAHAM BIGGS passed away on 9th September.
Biggs was a committed sidecar racer for many years, winning the 1000cc Australian Grand Prix at Bathurst in 1986 with passenger Jim Colligan. When the Australian TT returned to Mount Panorama in 1993, so did Graham, with his LCR. With passenger Laurie Genova, Graham won both legs of the Sidecar TT. After a long break from racing, he joined the ranks of the Historic Sidecar classes, taking third place (with Daryl Calvert) in the Forgotten Era at the 2016 Australian Historic Road Racing Championships at Symmons Plains, Tasmania. ■
