South Australia All British Day 2024

- Ray Goulter, Assistant Publicist. Email: goulter@ozemail.com.au

The All British Day normally held early in the year at the Echunga Recreational Grounds in South Australia had to be cancelled for the three years 2020-2022 due to Covid, but plans are now in place for a big return in 2023 and an even bigger event for British-made motorcycles in 2024. The 2024 event for motorcycles will be open to International exhibitors.

The All British Day International Motorcycle Muster 2024 will be held on Sunday 3rd March 2024. This will be the 40th year for the All British Day in SA; a milestone for the event. It’s planned to have special sections for each of the major British makes as well as sections for combined minor makes and specialist machines such as racing and speedway bikes that don’t fit the major makes. Plans are still at an early stage. Those who have attended this celebration of British marques before the Covid cancellations will know the total area includes the two adjacent Echunga Recreational Grounds (Ovals) and surrounding areas. Echunga is about an hour’s drive from the Adelaide CBD and only 5km from Hahndorf where there is a wide variety of accommodation types available. Adelaide and Mount Barker are also close enough should accommodation in Hahndorf become fully booked. Those who wish to stay on will find plenty to appreciate in the Adelaide Hills with a choice of many scenic country roads favoured by motorcyclists, especially on weekends.

Keep the date in mind and start planning attendance as an exhibitor. Expressions of Interest will be issued shortly to all known Australian and international motorcycle clubs and interest groups.
