Boat Harbour Beach > Stanley
At dawn, stroll along Boat Harbour Beach and marvel at its contrasting white sand and black rock, before continuing west on the Bass Highway. A leisurely drive to Stanley allows time to explore a fascinating slice of the North West such as Rocky Cape National Park, which harbours Aboriginal shelters and a rocky coastline – National Park Passes can be purchased on board Spirit of Tasmania. Then head to the gorgeous fishing village of Stanley, crouched at the foot of an extinct volcano, The Nut. Plan to arrive by mid-afternoon to take the chairlift to the top of The Nut to soak up the views. Choose from a range of accommodation including Bay View Guest House, Stanley Seaview Inn or camping sites.
