Club Med Bintan Island, (which is in Indonesia, but only a short ferry ride from Singapore), re-opens on 27 November 2016 after undergoing a magical makeover that has seen the whole resort re-imagined as a family-friendly holistic wellness escape!

The wellness theme extends to the multiple Kids Clubs, for tiny travellers through to teens (aged 17 years), offering dedicated, ageappropriate activities including circus school, a petit chef program, sand painting and cultural experiences like tie-dyeing. There’s also family yoga by the sea at sunrise and sunset, stand-up paddle boarding and twilight trapeze.

Catering to Australian tastes for holidays that combine stunning settings with pampering and wellness, the resort offers families jaw-dropping natural beauty; unique experiences for body and mind; and delicious, healthy cuisine – served with a side of authentic Indonesian culture.

Bintan Island, formerly known as ‘Pirate Island’, has a rich history thanks to its location along the India-China trading route – in the 12th Century it was a hideout for smugglers and pirates who plundered treasures from passing ships!
