Exercise club welcomes a trio of new trainers
KEEPING fit and healthy as you get older has never been so accessible now that Beechworth Exercise Activity and Training (BEAT) have three recently qualified trainers from Wodonga TAFE.
Brian Rock, chair of the Beechworth Community Support Committee was delighted to hand over accreditation certificates to the new trainers, Margaret Beatson, Harvey Anderssen and Judy Smith.
The trio all completed a Certificate III in Fitness.
They will work alongside existing trainers Rob and Lee Whamond, Helen Kenney and Lorna Green who are delighted with the three additions.
Judy Smith said support from local group helped the new trainers gain their qualification.

Ms Smith also thanked WAW Credit Union for their generosity in helping fund new uniforms for BEAT staff.
The group meets at the Senior Citizens Hall in Harper Street twice a week on Monday and Wednesdays from 9.30 to 10.30am.
Led by qualified instructors the group runs classes in gentle exercise that includes warming up, cooling down, resistance training or qigong.
