The publication Razorback – the Real Story: what a read! Once I started to read the book it was impossible to put it down.
Ted is to be congratulated for taking the time to put this warts and all account of the nine days into print so that people not associated with the industry can see what had to be endured by the truck drivers to keep our country moving.
It is sad to note, though, that nothing has changed over the last 50 years.
It’s still the same old, same old, with drivers being forced to drive for their low rates and the police and other authorities all after their share, although it has nothing to do with raising revenue.
As was mentioned in Owner// Driver it is time to take out the keys and let the trucks lay idle for a couple weeks so that some common sense on freight rates can be achieved. Alan Knight Talbot, Victoria
