Dear Owner//Driver

Owner Driver - - OWNER // DRIVER -

I was intercepted on June 2 by VicRoads and awarded a $160 fine for ‘failure to record info in work diary’. This forgetful occurrence took place on May 10.

The misdemeanour was for not signing a page at end of the day. Such a heinous crime.

My question is, what the hell does this have to do with road safety?

I would like to hear comments from Owner//Driver’s columnists – Sheldon, Wilkie, Hannifey and The Interstater in regard to me taking this to court (just to waste more of their and my time), if it can be

fought on the grounds of irrelevance and nothing to do with road safety. Chopper (Real name and location withheld by request) – 30 years’ experience in transport and my first log book fine Victoria
