MACK ROAD STABILITY ADVANTAGE (RSA): This full-stability system helps drivers mitigate rollovers and loss-of-control situations on wet and dry roads. The system helps to mitigate vehicle jack-knifes, slides, skids and loss-of-control through advanced monitoring of a variety of vehicle parameters and automatic or selective application of vehicle brakes.
BENDIX BLIND SPOTTER: Reduces the drivers’ blind spot and increases the field of view by up to 120 degrees. This assists with safer lane changes, drifting in lanes and reduces sideswipe accidents.
ALERT PRIORITISATION: Provides the most critical alert first (typically the impact alert) leading into a collision mitigation braking event, helping minimise driver distraction from multiple alerts occurring simultaneously.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING: The system alerts your driver to unintended
FOLLOWING DISTANCE ALERT: Three levels of audible and visual alerts let the driver know when they are getting too close to the forward vehicle.
IMPACT ALERT: Audible and visual alerts warn the driver that a collision with the forward vehicle is likely and that they should address the situation immediately.
STATIONARY OBJECT ALERT: When a large metallic object may be blocking the lane of travel, the driver receives an audible and visual alert up to three seconds before potential impact.
STATIONARY VEHICLE BRAKING: Alerts the driver up to 3.5 seconds before potential impact and applies vehicle brakes if a large, stationary, in-lane object is identified.
ENHANCED COLLISION MITIGATION: Automatically applies the foundation brakes to mitigate, or potentially prevent, a possible collision with a forward moving vehicle.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH BRAKING: When a forward vehicle is detected and either the distance to the vehicle or a following distance alert is shown, the system intervenes by reducing throttle, engaging engine retarder and applying foundation brakes to help the driver maintain a set following distance behind a forward vehicle.
