Score and fold a gatefold

1 card blank from a piece of

A4 green card. You’ll need to score a line 7.5cm in from each of the shorter ends.

Cut two 15x6.5cm panels of

2 letter-patterned paper and stick them to the front of the gatefold flaps – with the left one at the bottom of the panel, and the right one at the top.

For the banners, cut strips

3 of red stripy paper, one measuring 4.5x8.5cm and another 4.5x10.5cm, two strips of mirri card measuring

4x8cm and 4x10cm, and two strips of white card measuring

4x8cm and 4x10cm.

Die cut one end of each of

4 the shorter strips into a fishtail. Cut both ends of the longer strips to build a doubleended banner. Layer the pieces together, and use sticky foam pads to affix them onto the card front – stick the central one onto the left-hand side only. Top each banner with a mini envelope embellishment, as shown.

Create a sentiment on your

5 computer then print it onto white card. Print ‘Dear Santa…’ and ‘I’ve been good!’ in two sections, then trim and stick them on either side of your card front, as shown.
