Cut two pieces of white card

1 to mea­sure 15x17cm then score each piece at 2.5cm and

14.5cm. Die cut an 11cm-wide cir­cle into the cen­tre of one of the card pieces. Cover the cen­tre panel of the other piece with tree-pat­terned pa­per.

Cut one piece of white card to

7x14cm, and an­other piece to

4.5x14cm. Score both pieces at

1cm and 13cm. These will be­come the cen­tre pan­els for dec­o­rat­ing with your fes­tive scene.

Die cut the el­e­ments from the

Build a Scene set, us­ing a va­ri­ety of pat­terned pa­pers. Use sticky foam pads to layer the el­e­ments – moun­tains at the back, log cabin and trees at the front – onto the larger cen­tre panel of your card base.

Layer the smaller cen­tre

4 panel with snow and a snow­man. At­tach the cen­tre pan­els to the side flaps of the panel with the tree-pat­terned pa­per. At­tach the front aper­ture panel to the other panel, to en­close your snowy scene.

Glue die-cut snowflakes onto

5 strips of ac­etate. Ad­here the ac­etate be­hind the aper­ture, so the snowflakes ap­pear to float. To fin­ish, dec­o­rate the card front with a sen­ti­ment, sticker bor­ders and ad­he­sive pearls.
