Papercraft Inspirations - - CARD FOLDING -

This 3D-effect card features bunting bursting out of the frame, for a lively birthday celebration

1 Cover a 13.5x11cm top-fold card blank with patterned paper using double-sided tape or glue. Slightly overlap the top fold with the paper for a neat finish.

2 Cut 13.5x10cm of contrasting patterned paper. Cut a central aperture measuring 10x7cm using a metal ruler and a craft knife, to make a rectangular frame. 3 Use a border die to cut a scalloped border along one of the 10cm edges. Attach the frame to the base card with the scallop at the bottom, using sticky foam pads.

4 Die cut two banners using patterned paper, back the heart apertures with pink paper then back with banners die cut in black card. Layer slightly askew so the black is visible, as shown. Stick to the base card using sticky foam pads.

5 Add a sentiment and finish with a few gems scattered inside the frame.
