Was the inclusion of the most popular game on Steam ever in any doubt? What’s far more surprising than its inclusion, especially given that so many PCPP regulars play the game, is that PUBG didn’t nab the number one spot. It’s not difficult to see why the game is so popular. Although PUBG didn’t invent the battle royale style game, it did go a long way to perfecting the format and popularising a style of gamer that will be as ubiquitous this year as “WoW killers” were a decade ago.
