FANGS FOR EVERYTHING

I somehow managed to miss the first iteration of Bloodlines back in the day, which is kinda odd – I’m a mad-keen fan of the original tabletop game. I’ve played in ongoing campaigns, oneoff LARPs, and am currently running an intense little story set during a massive vampire war in modern Los Angeles.

I gave it a good shot a couple of years ago, and I really did appreciate a lot of what the game was doing – but there was no denying the game was as much a mess as I’d ever heard about, and to be honest... I find it hard going back to games that old. They just don’t look good, and I’m pretty shallow gamer, really. For all the great writing and plotting of Bloodlines, I just can’t get past how ordinary it looks.

So as far as Bloodlines 2 is concerned, it’s getting a HUGE hell yes from me. And after reading our preview this issue, my hype may be hitting dangerous levels...
