THE Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) has announced that for the second consecutive year the national conference, Medicines Management 2019, has received a record number of abstract submissions.

The healthy level of engagement by hospital pharmacists and technicians generated 738 abstracts for the 45th national conference, with the theme ‘Making Waves’, to be held this year on the Gold Coast in Nov.

SHPA Chief Executive, Kristin Michaels, says MM2019 will make waves as practitioners showcase their innovation and ingenuity at the cutting-edge conference.

“Papers have come in from all corners of the country and we are thrilled to open registration and begin the build-up to this exciting event, which marks our first truly national conference with convenors and organisers hailing from all seven SHPA Branches.”
