Biologicals hurdle

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has posted an update on its “Testing of biological medicines” page, outlining for sponsors: the requirements of the testing program during and after registration as well as how the TGA applies a risk-based approach to prioritising tests.

Although these policies have been in place since 2007, they are published as part of TGA’s ongoing transparency initiatives - tga.gov.au.
