“I had a job as a financial consultant and did photography on the side. I opened a studio and split the cost with another photographer. I was making money from it but I wasn’t making a living. I did that for many years and really enjoyed it, but eventually I got sick of it. I was totally burned out and, one day, I took all my gear and put it in my attic. After that I didn’t touch it for probably 11 years. Holding a digital SLR for the first time, in 1999, completely re-ignited my passion for photography.”
