“i al­ways pre­fer to use fil­ters than Pho­to­shop,” says David, “so I still have a full set of soft and hard Lee Fil­ters ND grads for deal­ing with bright skies. I also carry a Lee Big (10-stop) Stop­per ND fil­ters, for cre­at­ing long exposures, even dur­ing the day. I do this when I want to em­pha­size move­ment in wa­ter by turn­ing seas into silky smooth blur.”
