01 tonal curve

Once you’ve opened the image in the Develop module, go to the Tone Curve dropdown tab. Add two points on to the left of the line, and then drag up the left end. This is the foundation of creating the matte look. To create a stronger effect, raise the end of the curve higher. Lower it for a softer, subtler effect.
