01 bridge Cameras

These cameras ‘bridge’ the gap between a point-and-shoot and a DSLR. They have a fixed lens, with a powerful zoom, and many of the manual controls of a DSLR, though they are geared towards automatic and semi-automatic shooting.

02 dslr Cameras

The digital evolution of traditional SLR film cameras, DSLRS use a physical mirror and pentaprism to compose and capture photographs. They possess large sensors for the best image quality and enable you to change the lens.

03 mirrorless Cameras

Foregoing the mirror mechanism, these cameras are much smaller and lighter. Unlike DSLRS, the electronic viewfinder or LCD shows exactly how your image will expose. It’s predicted that mirrorless cameras will ultimately replace DSLRS.
