EMMA uses her old-buttrusted mains-powered Bowens Esprit 500 lighting kit, with various diffusers and modifiers: “They’re old but still work really well, with lots of control for power. The modelling lamps are easy to adjust to see how each light falls on the face and body.” Other brands to consider include Elinchrom and Lastolite.
