EMMA bought the new Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art recently and will often choose it for portraits over her beloved Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8l lens. “It is a big lens, but it’s a prime and captures great quality images that are very sharp. The 85mm on my full-frame Canon is an ideal focal length to work with for portraits,” says Emma. Shooting low-light in houses is also no problem with the wide aperture. Additionally, it’s cheaper at around £350 less than the current Canon equivalent on the market.
