Is it possible to use two Speedlites at the same time, on my Canon EOS 7D Mk II, for some extra power?

Brian Says… Yes it is possible, and there are a few ways to achieve it. Since you can use one flash on the hotshoe, all that would be needed is a suitable bracket to mount the second flash near the lens. I used a Canon Speedlite bracket SB-E2, but there are plenty of alternatives. With radio wireless flashes, use the one on the hotshoe as a master, and the other as a slave in group A. Canon master flashes are always in group A. If you don’t have radio flashes, it may be possible to use the built-in flash as a Speedlite transmitter to trigger two flashes mounted on a bracket. When you add a flash, you double the available power, giving just 1-stop more light.
