BRIAN SAYS… You may be able to recover the colour information if your photos were saved as Raws. If so, then open the picture in DPP, select the Standard Picture Style for a colour picture. If the files are JPEG images then there’s no way to convert to colour. Apart from size, what is the real difference between the Canon EOS 200D and 800D? Sian Weaver, King’s Sutton BRIAN SAYS… I’d say the AF system, the EOS 800D has a 45-point AF derived from the EOS 80D, the EOS 200D has a simpler 9-point AF system. For action, sports and wildlife go for the 800D. Why does my EOS 80D change the position of the AF point by itself, when I move the camera? Lisa Dukes, Devizes BRIAN SAYS… A custom function in the EOS 80D can change the selected AF point, when the camera is switched from landscape to portrait orientation. For the EOS 80D, C.FN-II 10 controls this behaviour, set this C.FN. to 0 to have the same AF point in all positions.
