Nina suggested that I change my Canon 24-105mm lens to her Canon 135mm f/2 prime. It was a good move, as the sharpness of the subject and shooting at f/2 to really blur the background was instantly noticeable – needless to say, it stayed on my camera for the rest of the day! I love the colour and softness of this shot, with the light behind the subject highlighting her hair.
