“EVERYONE wants landscapes for their walls now. I’ve noticed a shift in terms of what people put up, so I’ll shoot wide, because they’ll want more environment in it – so it looks like a piece of artwork with people in it. What I find is that people use portraits as smaller prints on the mantelpiece.
So the selection of photos needs to be quite wide: I tend to deliver 40 on my full family shoots where either the background is different, the person is different, or the composition is very different. And by composition difference, it’s either headshot, full body or super wide – that level of difference,” says Nina.
