PHYSICAL SETTINGS

Shooting Raw affects the ‘digital’ side of your workflow, but there are some more basic ‘physical’ camera settings which will apply before the image is even recorded. These are the shutter speed, lens aperture and focus point; they are fixed when you take the photograph and cannot be changed later, regardless of whether you shoot JPEG or Raw. Think before you shoot.
