Warm Beef Salad

1 cup sliced mushrooms 1 tbsp chopped coriander 2 tbsp chopped basil
1⁄4 cup white wine 1 red capsicum, sliced Juice of 1 lime or lemon 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tbsp soy sauce 400 g rump steak 1 carrot, cut into julienne strips
Combine soy sauce, garlic and lemon juice in a small bowl. Brush a non-stick frying pan with oil. Cook rump steaks. Brush frequently with soy sauce mixture. When cooked, set aside. In the same frying pan, add mushrooms, capsicum and carrot. Add the wine. Cook vegetables until crispy. Stir through herbs. Arrange vegetables on a serving plate. Slice steak thinly across the grain. Place strips over vegetables.
