Warm Beef Salad

Prepa­ra­tion: 10 mins Cook­ing: 15 mins Serves: 4

1 cup sliced mush­rooms 1 tbsp chopped co­rian­der 2 tbsp chopped basil

1⁄4 cup white wine 1 red cap­sicum, sliced Juice of 1 lime or lemon 2 cloves gar­lic, crushed 1 tbsp soy sauce 400 g rump steak 1 car­rot, cut into juli­enne strips


Com­bine soy sauce, gar­lic and lemon juice in a small bowl. Brush a non-stick fry­ing pan with oil. Cook rump steaks. Brush fre­quently with soy sauce mix­ture. When cooked, set aside. In the same fry­ing pan, add mush­rooms, cap­sicum and car­rot. Add the wine. Cook veg­eta­bles un­til crispy. Stir through herbs. Ar­range veg­eta­bles on a serv­ing plate. Slice steak thinly across the grain. Place strips over veg­eta­bles.
