Link found to meth-accused
A police investigation into the supply of drugs into Tom Price has resulted in the arrest of two local women on charges of intent to sell or supply methamphetamine.
Last week Tom Price police charged a 33-year-old woman with possession of meth with intent to sell or supply, after she was allegedly found with a substantial amount of the drug in the Mid West.
She was remanded in custody. It comes several months after another woman, also in her early 30s, was charged with 19 counts of offering to sell or supply meth in September.
The women are known to each other.
The local police operation has been running since March.
Tom Price police Senior Constable Chris Forrest said the use of meth could be especially devastating in small regional communities and police were always working to get it off the streets.
