Her sin­gle, Ain’t No Love Song, is a soul and R&B combo which was of­fi­cially launched at Onyx on Sharpe on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 2.

“It feels amaz­ing to fi­nally have my own song out there. I had it writ­ten down as a goal, so to see it ac­com­plished is re­ally re­fresh­ing and I’ve proven to my­self I can do it,” she said.

“A friend con­vinced me I should cel­e­brate, so I put on a song launch to get some ex­po­sure, plus there’s some amaz­ing tal­ent in Kar­ratha, so I thought it would be great to have a night where we could all come to­gether.”

With step one done, it’s time for Danelle to write some more mu­sic, put her­self out there and notch up some more per­for­mances.

“I’ve done cov­ers my whole life, but do­ing my own stuff is bring­ing back my pas­sion and love for mu­sic,” she said.

“If it’s a dingy old pub where I get to sing my orig­i­nals, I’ll be happy.”
