Mandurah venue Murphy’s Irish Pub took out the Community Services Award at the AHA Awards for Excellence.

THE best of WA’s hotels and hospitality industry were celebrated at the 2018 AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence at Crown Perth.

Multi-award winning Mandurah hostelry Murphy’s Irish Pub was again a winner, taking out the Community Services Award.

It was also a finalist in the categories for social media activity, casual pub regional dining and theme venues.

Australian Hotels Association (WA) chief executive Bradley Woods said the pace of innovation and evolution of WA’s hospitality industry over the past year had been extraordinary, with the quality of venues, products and service reaching new heights.

“Hotels, bars, restaurants, pubs, taverns, wineries and breweries across WA are continually exceeding expectations, with new and exciting offerings being complemented by innovation within existing venues,’’ he said.
