PlayStation keeps bringing the hits

Sony announces new budget range of PS4 classics

-

Sony is busting out the red ribbon for its new line of budget physical releases, PlayStation Hits, made up of best-selling titles from PlayStation 4’s library. Each game will retail for £15.99, and the covers boast an unmistakeable scarlet bar below the famous blue box. The line debuted in the United States and Canada back in June, and now we’re able to get our mitts on it too.

The range is a great opportunity to revisit an old favourite, add a physical copy of a much-loved digital download to your collection, or give the gift of gaming to someone who missed out the first time around. The usual suspects are all here. No PlayStation hits collection would be complete without The Last Of Us Remastered or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but these undeniably heavy hitters are balanced with a fair few lighter titles. Alongside Ratchet & Clank, Sackboy joins the lineup in Little Big Planet 3, and Rayman Legends closes out the list’s top-notch platforming selection. In addition to these big names are a few slightly more niche titles, such as the god of gang war’s ’80s outing Yakuza 0 and the beloved Bloodborne. Keep an eye on the official website to see what else is on the list.

Maybe this is what we need to finally get back into Bloodborne (especially given the insistence of a very vocal member of the team, *cough*JESS*cough*). However, with new titles set to be added to the line as time goes on, perhaps we’ll have an affordable, convenient excuse not to.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO REVISIT AN OLD FAVOURITE.
