OUR GOTY TOP TEN ISN’T JUST ABOUT BLOCKBUSTERS.

09It’s that time of the year again when we look back over the last 12 months of PlayStation gaming and distil them into a hand-picked Top Ten list. Yes, it’s time for you to vote for your OPM Game Of The Year.

Visit the voting site at bit.ly/ opm_2018, or follow along on Twitter and Facebook. Voting is open now, and it’s very simple: just pick the game you loved the most from the list. We’ll take all the votes cast and order them into the ten most popular.

It’s been a great year for PS4 and PS VR too, with early picks emerging in the first half of 2018 as Monster Hunter World, Dragon Ball FighterZ, God Of War, and Yakuza 6 all arrived.

Then the second half of the year brought another surge and the lineup took shape with Marvel’s Spider-Man and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider heating up the charts. Can there be a better game released than Spider-Man? Well, Rockstar and Ubisoft had something to contribute, with the releases of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. These two massive releases represent the cutting-edge of open world gameplay.

But our GOTY Top Ten isn’t just about blockbuster releases. Maybe indies such as Hollow Knight and Dead Cells will make the top ten? Or perhaps there’s room for a PS VR hit to nudge into the list – The Persistence and Astro Bot Rescue Mission impressed us.

But this is your GOTY, so even Detroit: Become Human stands a chance. It’s your vote; use it wisely.
