LAST MONTH ON PS PLUS

- @KoeniginKatze

November was the month of big bangs, as Sony understood. After you’d had your fill of colourful explosions, there were plenty of titles for you to curl up with during long winter nights. Whether you were hankering to sling some bullets or hurl some fists, this month’s PS Plus lineup had something for you.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

plopped you down on an abandoned resort planet, full of mutated inhabitants, where you had to choose whether to pursue survival or vengeance. Featuring overthe-top FPS action, 12 co-op maps, and a Skillshot system that rewarded creative kills, it was ridiculous fun. Equally ridiculous in some ways was

Yakuza: Kiwami. A ground-up remake of the first game in the series, which released on the PS2, this crime drama featured plenty of opportunities to bust some heads as you scoured the mean streets for a mysterious young girl and a missing briefcase full of a ridiculous amount of yen. You laughed, you cried, and probably also shouted “Hell yeah!” as you punched a whole bunch of guys. With the slew of Yakuza remasters coming to PS4, it was the ideal time to get into the series if you hadn’t already.

After that, available for cross-buy on PS4 and PS Vita were point-and-click folk tale Burly Men At Sea and FMV favourite Roundabout. You could take that limousine for a spin and just keep going in this wacky driving game.

On PS3 you had the Arkedo Series, which was stuffed with bright, retro stylings in the form of three games, ‘ JUMP!’, ‘ SWAP!’ and the platform adventure ‘ PIXEL!’ Closing out the month was one of OPM Towers’ go-to party collections, Jackbox Party Pack 2, which saw you putting on your poker face for outrageous fibs, telling jokes using only sound effects, selling your overpriced masterpieces, and more.
