HEROES OF ALDRENOR
If you’re feeling the urge to batter countless goblins and loot dungeons while your pals cheer you on, then this Dark-Alliance-like dungeon-crawler is for you. It’s amazing how Dreams creator DarkestEssence has managed to craft a full action RPG inside Dreams, complete with three-player co-op. One of the best games in Dreams, Heroes Of Aldrenor has the depth of play to compete with most indies.
DREAMS HOMERUN CHALLENGE
Exactly what you expect: bat balls over the wooden fence to score. There’s an Endless mode that challenges you to string hits together. It may not be complex, but InfaredJ’s Homerun Challenge has an old-fashioned arcade sensibility we can happily slide into.
FUNKY BONES IV
If you’re a longtime Media Molecule fan then this LittleBigPlanet homage ticks all the boxes. This new level by creator Loz_r sends his hero, Madamoiselle Diop, to the underworld to platform her way past hazards and cute skeletons. If you’re after a polished gem, look no further.
RAINBOW ISLAND
There’s a subtle Bubble Bobble influence in this slick platformer from Fr0d0_FragginS79, as you guide your cute dragon around blank islands, canvasses for his colour-spraying breath. Even as a WIP, Rainbow Island shines.
BALL WORLD ADVENTURES! PART ONE
Guide your ball across obstacle courses accessed from a hub map. xXRazorfistXx’s ball balancer is essential.
